Release of new data from Down Under was the Australia Inventories for Quarter 2, which came in at -3.0% quarter on quarter. The expected figure was -1.0%. It is opined that the drain on inventories were due to consumer panic before the lockdown. However, the AUD showed little reaction to this data but keep an eye out for the full Q2 GDP data that is due for release this Wednesday.
