It was great to finally see some positive action in the GBP/USD pairing as it surged to 1.300, and wrapped up the day in the 1.2960 levels. This came about after the UK offered tentative concessions on fisheries during negotiations with the EU. This positive sentiment was strong enough to overcome the FOMC announcement.
