Technical analysis is a way to measure movement and attempt to quantify volume and participation levels of participants. You cannot predict next coming move by knowing what just happened. That is predicting the future before it happens. What you can do is to know what is likely to happen with a higher degree of probability than something else and waiting patiently untill the market set up through its repeating cycles
